Probus is a distinguished insurance-selling organization operating primarily in the business-to-business sector. It facilitates partnerships with the point-of-sale persons (POSP). The company wanted to upgrade its existing platform to elevate the overall user experience by consolidating all documentation, examination processes, and mandatory training modules into a single, user-friendly platform.
Probus wanted us to redesign their existing website to improve the overall user experience, increase the number of people signing up to be POSp and simplify the entire journey for POSps.
To ensure that the project flows smoothly towards completion, we follow the STEP process which is acronymous to Soak, Think, Execute, and Proof.
The project was divided into three phases, UX Research, UX designing, and UI design. We identified the competitors and recognized ways to position the product.
A thorough competitive analysis was conducted to identify the gaps in the user journey. Based on the UX research, user personas were created.
Task flows & sitemaps were redesigned to gain higher usability. Based on them, wireframes were created.
UI mood board and UI options were created to set the theme of the entire application. After client approval, a design system was created along with the UI screens for the web & mobile app.
With the data & takeaways we received from the user research, user personas and use cases were created.
A comprehensive competitive analysis helped us find the gaps in the user journey. We also identified which features can be included in the application.
Inferences from UX research & user personas led us to create intuitive user task flows. We organized the information structure to improve navigation and make the user experience more enjoyable.
The Sitemap was redesigned to improve the usability of the application.
The wireframes suggest how we planned to organize the information on each web page. After iterations based on client recommendations, we submitted the final wireframes to the UI team to work on it further.
The UI design brought our ideas to life. Our designers selected UI elements like typography and a design system that aligns with the research and UX recommendations. Another thing we kept in mind was compliance with the brand identity.
