An Indian fintech company that provides gold-backed loans to individuals through a unique model for obtaining loans by pledging their gold jewelry as collateral.
- Their on-demand home or office visits for gold loans, differentiate them from the competitors by unique and customer-centric experience.
- Particularly notable for their introduction of specialized variations and additional loan features to attract customers with specific requirements.
Opportunity
We linked the café app to the POS, ensuring customised orders flow smoothly and reduce errors.
Core problems
- The already existing sections of the app including Gold+, Gold Loans, and asset management were experiencing a lack of quality users, leading to lower conversion and revenue.
- The app was facing a decline in conversion because of its highly complex and multi-step app processes.
- Difficult navigation, and an outdated and unappealing interface lead to poor user experience and ultimately lead to poor user traffic and engagement.
Key Opportunities
- We have introduced several useful features for a digital gold app including a round-off feature, and a product as a target feature to attract more quality users.
- We have simplified and reduced the steps for several of their processes, including onboarding to make it user-friendly.
- The user experience of the app was improvised with the use of appealing illustrations and trendy icons.

We crafted the user experience for the cafe app, defining prioritised features, intuitive task flows, and clear wireframes. The POS redesign required a new features list, comprehensive task flows, logical navigation, a sitemap, and robust wireframes for seamless interaction.
